Prologue
Before the projects, the products and everything that came after, there was an idea. This is the story of how Black Crow began.
Black Crow didn't start with an office, a large team, or an investment.
It began with two people, computers, many hours of learning, and an idea that slowly stopped feeling small to us:
we wanted to build something of our own.
During 2025 we decided to stop seeing software merely as something we could develop and start seeing it as the place where we wanted to grow.
We still didn't know how far Black Crow would go.
But we knew we didn't want to stay still.
Before it existed, there was an idea
We wanted to progress within the world of software.
Learn more, build better products, experiment with new technologies, and turn what we knew how to do into something that could grow with us.
We didn't start with everything figured out.
In fact, much of the journey was exactly the opposite.
We learned as we built.
Design, development, servers, databases, integrations, security, products, clients, administration and, eventually, everything necessary to turn an idea into a real company.
Black Crow took shape as we did.
Why Black Crow?
The name didn't come by chance either.
Black Crow represents two ideas we've wanted to carry with us from the start.
The first is related to the nature of the crow.
It's an animal that observes, adapts, and finds a way to keep moving forward even in difficult environments.
We identify with that idea.
Not waiting for everything to be easy. Learning to move, solve whatever comes up, and keep growing.
The second is about something even more important to us: intelligence and learning.
Crows are among the birds with the most developed cognitive abilities. They learn, remember, solve problems, and adapt to new situations.
And we don't want to stick with what we already know either.
Technologies change.
Products change.
Internet changes.
We also have to.
Learn, build, make mistakes, understand and build again better.
That's why Black Crow.
We didn't just want a name that sounded good.
We wanted one that would constantly remind us of the kind of company we want to build.

Building a company was another problem
Knowing how to create software didn't mean knowing how to create a company.
When we started the formal process, things came up that were completely outside our usual world.
Documents.
Records.
Administrative authorities.
Banks.
Signatures.
Legal procedures.
Public systems.
And processes that, many times, seemed considerably more complicated than they should be.
We didn't have a legal, administrative, or accounting department handling every step.
So we did what we already knew how to do when we didn't understand something:
research.
We read, asked, reviewed documentation, and used artificial intelligence as an assistive tool to understand processes that, until then, were completely new to us.
We learned much of the incorporation process while we were doing it.
There were inconveniences.
There were mistakes.
There were procedures that seemed to stall.
And there were also moments when we discovered how difficult it can still be for someone simply to try to create a company and begin operating formally in our country.
But we kept going.
15 September 2025
After all that process, on 15 September 2025, BLACK CROW S.R.L. was incorporated.
Black Crow was no longer just a name, an idea, or projects stored on our computers.
It officially existed.
All the paperwork, the hours of research, and the problems we'd had to solve had served a purpose.
But forming the company was never the final goal.
In fact, it was only the starting point.
What we want to build
From the beginning we had a clear ambition: to create truly good software.
We don't want to build products that merely work. We want to take care of the experience, the design, the architecture, the security, and every detail behind what we build.
We know we still have much to learn, and that precisely drives us to keep growing.
Today our challenge is to get more people to discover what we do.
We want Black Crow to stand out for one thing: its work.
On 15 September 2025 we officially began.
